Wendres journey began in 1935, when linen farmers cooperative opened a factory in the small town of Vändra, Estonia. Today Wendre is one of the largest bedding producers in Europe,  with its own manufacturing units in Estonia as well as in Poland with a yearly production capacity of 18 million quilts & pillows and 600.000 beds & mattresses.

„Smart About Sleeping” is Wendre’s concept name for products that work together to create the ideal sleeping environment. “Smart About Sleeping” is not just a pillow or a bed, but a completely new solution that helps people sleep better by helping you choose the right blanket, pillow, mattress and bed.

Wendre develops innovative and sustainable bed and mattress solutions. We have a lot of experience in matching different bed frames and fabrics with different fiber, foam and spring mattress layers, resulting in unique shapes and functionality. Innovation is supported by a focus on automation and efficient processes in assembly, packaging, storage and logistics.

We produce beds and mattresses in our Estonian production facility with an annual production capacity of 600,000 units.

Wendre Group is one of the largest manufacturers of bedding in Europe, with production facilities in Estonia and Poland.

We have a great responsibility. Products and raw materials used in production processes have a great impact on our planet. We must be aware that what and how we do is an example for the entire industry and also for the consumers of our products.

Our conscious choices - from whom we buy raw materials and to whom we sell our products - affect many aspects. Therefore, we also make sure that the visions of our partners match our vision. Whether it is plastic bottles, textile waste or wood pulp that we use to produce fibers - all these steps reduce the need to use our planet's natural resources.

For example, we recycle 121 million PET bottles every year. One of Wendre's biggest goals is to be at the forefront of the circular economy. Our pillow and blanket collections, as well as our mattress collections, are the ones that carry this mission forward.

By using Wendre products, you contribute to recycling and reduce the need for using new materials. We still have a long way to go, but our biggest ambition is to be 100% recyclable. This means that we must be conscious in our handling and production processes.
